What are the
payment terms when I engage your services? |
Once you are ready to engage our services for web development and management, here is
the process and payment terms:
- Payment of
initial non-refundable deposit
for the web design
must be received to engage our services prior to start of design (see rates for each
package).
- We will design your web pages on our test web server so you can interactively view the
web site and we can make changes based on your feedback.
- During the development, payment of
50% of the Web hosting and management fee
as well as the domain registration fee is due. Once
this payment is received, we will order your web space, get your e-mail accounts
established (so you can begin to use them) and reserve your domain name with the InterNIC. This is critical to ensure we reserve your domain name quickly so no one
else can take it and to get your servers ready for production.
- Once the web site is completed and approved, the
balance of Web design fee
and the balance of the Web hosting and management fee is due.
- We want you to be 100% satisfied!
Payment should be in the form of a check or money order made out to "Bisinet Web

What is the
commitment term and how do I renew? |
We require a
one year commitment on all web site
packages. Payment is in advance on an annual
basis. This allows us to deal
with all aspects of your web site more
effectively and cuts down on administration
costs for both our companies.
During the 11h
month of your term, we will send you an
invoice for the following year. If you would
like to renew with us, simply pay the web
hosting and management fee in advance. We do
this during the 11th month to ensure the
continuity of your web site is not
disrupted. If you would like to cancel (we
hope you don't), please see the Cancellation
process below. |

What is the
process for canceling service and what
happens to my site? |
If you do not
with to renew with us for the following
year, simply return the invoice we send you
with a letter indicating that you want to
cancel services with us. You still own
the web design and content. Sorry, we
cannot refund any monies paid in advance if
you cancel.
If you choose
to hire another firm to host and manage your
site, we will work with them to transfer
your site if you wish. However, we will need
to bill you at our hourly rate for any extra
labor involved in doing this.
We hope our
relationship can continue for many years,
however, and look forward to working with
you. |

Do I own my web
site? |
Since you paid
for the design and development of your web
site, you retain full ownership of the
content of all web pages we designed for
you. However, any special
software we use as part of our web
development is owned and licensed to BISINET
Web Services. |

Do you offer
other services? |
We are an
Information Technology company. We
offer many other services, such as custom
forms, graphics scanning, some graphics
design, shopping cart applications ... and
more. Please
contact us if you have a specific need.
We have ways of solving most business needs
on the web. |

How should I
prepare and get started for engaging with
your company? |
Up front
preparation is the most critical part of the
web design process. We break our
process into 3 phases ... Preparation,
Documentation and Organization. This
is critical to a successful web design
experience. For more details, please
see our
document. |

How do I submit
text and graphics to you for the design? |
All text and
graphics provided for your web site should
be submitted to us in electronic format. It
is preferable that this information be sent
to us via electronic mail,. We will
provide you with an e-mail address to send
your info. Information can be put on a
PC diskette or CD and mailed to us.
All text should
be submitted in word processing format,
preferably Microsoft Word, however, other
word processing or text formats will work
fine. If you do not have the information in
electronic format, we will type the
information for you, however, additional
charges may apply.
All graphics
should be submitted in recognized PC format
(GIF, JPG, BMP, TIF, etc.). If you do not
have them in this format, we will gladly
scan them in for you for the web, however,
additional charges may apply. |

How long will
it take to get my site up and running on the
web? |
There are many
factors that go into determining how long it
will take to design and launch your web site
... complexity, size, amount of graphic work
and backlog. Also, the quality of the
up front preparation (see
) will determine the length of time
needed.
Typically,
smaller sites can take one to two weeks.
Larger and more complex sites can take from
2 to 6 weeks.

hard to meet your timeframe for getting your

use to host my web site? |
